  • On January 1, 2021, company management implemented Integrated Management System according to the international standards EN ISO 9001 – Quality Management System, EN ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System and ISO/IEC 27001 – Information Security Management System. During 2021, we expanded the Integrated Management System with a Service Management System according to ISO/IEC 20000-1. 

    Introduction of an Integrated Management System is a strategic decision for the company, which will contribute to improving performance of the company and provide a solid basis for its sustainable development.


    The aim of the Integrated Management System is to combine all related aspects of management into one system for easier management, evaluation and operation.


    Management of the company expects from a functioning Integrated Management System systematic control of environmental behavior, information security management, service management and measurable increase in quality of products, services, productivity of all employees.

    Integrated Management System

    Quality Management System in SFÉRA, a.s., was implemented in 2002. On January 9, 2017, a Quality Management System was changed in the company according to the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. Benefits of implementation of such system based on the international ISO 9001:2015 standard are as following:

    • ability to continuously develop products and provide services which meet customer requirements, applicable regulatory and regulatory requirements.
    • support of opportunities to increase customer satisfaction.
    • managing risks and opportunities associated with its context and goals.
    • ability to demonstrate conformity of the quality management system with the specified requirements.

    The company SFÉRA, a.s., pays special attention to protection of environment. The requirements of ISO 14001:2015 for an Environmental Management System are incorporated in the internal documentation of the company and cover the whole Environmental Management System (EMS). The purpose of EMS is to improve the environmental performance of the organisation and to demonstrate to all involved parties (customers, public and the authorities) that SFÉRA, a.s. evaluates, manages and reduces environmental impact of its activities, products and services.


    Considering the nature of our organisation, we primarily focus on the recycling of waste and packaging as well as the collecting, transport and the processing of waste from electronical and electric equipment.


    The company's internal directive defines long-term as well as short-term goals in the following areas:

    • Air protection
    • Protection and the reasonable use of water
    • Reasonable use of energy resources
    • Waste management

    The main indicators focus on the organization's behavior in the following environmental areas:

    • Energy efficiency,
    • Material efficiency,
    • Water,
    • Waste,
    • Biodiversity.

    In all of the above-mentioned areas the company acts in accordance with Slovak and EU legislation in force and all environmental standards for working procedures that are mandatory for the employees.

    On February 4, 2021, our company obtained certificate of Service Management System according to ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018.


    Service Management System according to ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 belongs to the international standard, which documents achieved level of provided services to our customers.

    Since July 28th, 2016 our company have introduced Information Security Management based on International Standard ISO/IEC 27001:2013.

    The standard ensures adequate protection of the company assets and customers.

    Evaluation of external services providers

    For a long time SFÉRA, a.s., uses evaluation process of external services providers. Providers are evaluated in terms of meeting requirements of the company and based on evaluation criteria.

    External providers of goods and services are divided into categories:

    Regular provider
    • provides goods and services for daily operation of the company and does not directly affect the quality of products and services provided by our company to clients,
    • evaluation is done upon receipt of each delivery and recorded in the internal system of orders.
    Key provider
    • has a significant impact on the quality of products and services supplied by our company,
    • evaluation of the provider is performed by the responsible project manager or the director of the relevant department.
    Decisive criteria for the evaluation of key providers are:
    • Timeliness and completeness - service is provided on time and is complete, regular or automatic.
    • Quality - compliant with the required/contractually agreed quality, the level of quality of the delivered service is stable or improving.
    • Price and payment conditions - compliant with conditions indicated in the contract, maintaining the price level, provision of discounts.
    • Communication and consulting - availability of responsible specialists, reaction time to issue/ request/questions, level of communication, contacting channels.

    Value of individual criteria depends on the group to which it applies (only the same groups can be compared).

    Each of above-mentioned criteria is evaluated by the following grades:
    4 - Full sufficiency, fulfillment beyond the requirements
    3 - Compliance with requirements and expectations
    2 - Minor deficiencies in providing services or implementation
    1 - Inability to meet the requirements, incompliance with requirements

    12 to 16 - Sufficient - Continuation of contractual relationship
    7 to 11 - Sufficient with objections - External provider will be notified of mistakes and will be asked to make corrections
    Less than 6 - Insufficient - External provider may be excluded from the list of external providers of SFÉRA, a.s.
